Support & compatibility

Current version. This information applies to Vera 0.3.2 for Windows. Outlook availability depends on your Microsoft account, organisation policies and Microsoft services.

Getting help

Include your Vera version, Windows version, what you expected and what happened. For purchase or download issues, include your order reference. For a bug, steps that reproduce it are useful.

Redact private information from screenshots and logs. Do not send passwords, access tokens or your full workspace database. Support is by email; no response time is guaranteed.

What works offline

Local calendars, notes, tasks, projects, reminders and check-ins can work without internet access. Vera has no activation or recurring licence checks.

Microsoft sign-in, Outlook synchronisation, sending or fetching email, purchases and downloads need internet access. Previously fetched mail can be read offline. Reminders require Vera to be running; closing to the tray keeps it running when that setting is enabled.

The installer may download Microsoft WebView2 if a suitable runtime is not installed. An internet connection may therefore be needed for initial setup even though core app use is offline.

Updates and fixes

Minor updates and bug fixes released for your purchased major version are free. Future major upgrades may cost extra, but any paid upgrade is optional. You may keep using your existing version.

Download expiry is separate from your licence. If a purchase link expires or a download fails, contact support for help recovering access. Keep your receipt and a copy of the installer.

Only install Vera from its official purchase or support channels. Back up your workspace before updating. Update instructions are provided with each release.

Your local data and backups

Use Settings > App > Export backup to save a consistent copy of your database. Store backups somewhere you control and protect them: they include workspace content and cached mail, and are not encrypted by Vera.

Importing a backup replaces your current database after restart. Vera keeps a timestamped copy of the previous database first. Review the confirmation carefully.

Microsoft refresh tokens remain in Windows Credential Manager and are not included in backups. Vera does not provide automatic cloud backup or remote recovery of your local workspace.

Current Outlook limits

The current build supports one connected Microsoft account and one default Outlook calendar. Work or school accounts may need administrator consent.

Mail search covers messages already cached by Vera, not your entire online mailbox. New outgoing attachments and rich-text composition are not supported in the current build. Shared calendars, multiple accounts and meeting invitation workflows are not part of the current supported feature set.

Local recurring events currently generate up to 400 occurrences within two years and do not extend automatically.

Purchase and refund help

Our refund policy provides a 14-day change-of-mind window. Rights for faults, misdescription and other legal remedies can apply beyond that window.

Read the licence terms and privacy policy for full details.
